Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for a zone change from A-R (Agricultural-Residential) District to RM-H (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Highest Density) District. FILE: 1799-Z STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request. John Binks, Doug Barlow, Doug Wells and Ronald and Monica Jannise are requesting a zone change from A-R (Agricultural-Residential) District to RM-H (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Highest Density) District for property located on the west side of Major Drive, approximately 1,850' north of the Folsom Road intersection. In 2000, Mr. Binks and Mr. Barlow rezoned 7.369 acres to RM-H. Apartments were built on that property. The current zone change request is for 18.46 acres of property south and southwest of the 7.369 acres. Mr. Binks and Mr. Barlow intend to develop the additional 18+ acres with apartments.
