SUBJECT: Consider a request for a specific use permit to allow a limousine
and charter bus service in a GC-MD (General
Commercial-Multiple Family Dwelling) District.

STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request.
Eddie Williams, President of Venture Limousine and Charter Service, is
requesting a specific use permit to allow a limousine and charter bus
service at 5755 Fannett Road.
Mr. Williams states that the office and property will be used for
contracting trips, collecting revenues for trips, keeping records for all
contracted business and for the storing of limousines and buses. No
fuel or hazardous materials will be stored on site. No changes to the
existing structure will be made. Typical business hours will be 8 a.m.
- 5 p.m. Most of the employees are contract labor.
In March, 2004, the City Council approved a specific use permit for
this property to allow an electrical contractor business. That business
has since moved to another location.
