SUBJECT: Consider a request for a specific use permit to allow a drinking
place in the CBD (Central Business) District.

STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends approval of this request subject to
the following condition:
1. The will be no BYOB as part of the operation of the business.
Christin Lowrey and Sybil Hartsfield have applied for a specific
use permit to allow a drinking place in the CBD (Central
Business) District. The property is located at 650 Orleans.
The applicants state that the business, Orleans Street Pub and
Patio, is to include a pub, night club and patio area. Pub
activities will include electronic dart boards, pool tables,
juke box and flat screen TV=s. The night club will include a
dance floor. The patio will include a stage for karaoke and
other performers.
The business will be open seven days a week from 5:00 p.m. to
2:00 a.m.

immediate vicinity of the subject property are a restaurant
and another night club.
