Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for a zone change from GC-MD (General Commercial-Multiple Family Dwelling) District and LI (Light Industrial) District to RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District FILE: 1945-Z STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval. Felicia Young, representing Jehovah Jireh Village CDC, Inc., has applied for a zone change from GC-MD (General Commercial-Multiple Family Dwelling) District and LI (Light Industrial) District to RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District. The property is located north of th Fannett Road and west of 11 Street. The purpose of the zone change is to allow the construction of single family residences for low to moderate income families. A preliminary st plat of Phase I of this development is on the April 21 agenda, as well. Jehovah Jireh Village CDC, Inc. is associated with Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to this property, the church is developing a subdivision on Sarah Street, west of the Melton YMCA.
