Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for a zone change from RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District and LI (Light Industrial) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) District FILE: 1943-Z STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval. Leonard Kirtman, representing Global Ventures, has applied for a zone change from RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District and LI (Light Industrial) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) District. The property is located on the south side of Fannett Road, between Highway 69 and Walden Road. Global Ventures has plans to develop the approximately 264 acres into a mixed residential and light commercial development. Before, any development can occur, the PUD zoning district requires that a general land use and density plan be submitted to the Planning Commission and City Council. The plan shall include a schematic land use plan identifying proposed general uses, densities, major open spaces, circulation and access features and a statement indicating proposed phasing of development and the projected timing of each phase.
