STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends approval.
Sheri Arnold, representing TCRE, LLC, has applied for a zone change
from RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District to GC-MD
(General Commercial-Multiple Family Dwelling) District or more
restrictive. The property is located at 554-598 Euclid.
The purpose of the zone change is to allow the construction of a new
63,355 sq. ft. Walgreens Pharmacy on the subject property. GC-MD
zoning abuts the subject property to the north and east. The subject
property will be combined with the property to the north to allow
adequate room for construction.
The proposed pharmacy is the first of its kind in this neighborhood in
many years. The pharmacy=s market area is currently underserved
and will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
