Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Consider a request for a zone change from RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District to RM-M (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Medium) District and a specific use permit to allow for the expansion of Nutrition and Services for Seniors, including office space, senior center, storage and parking in an RM-M (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Medium Density) District FILE: 2113-Z/P STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval. Elaine Schellenberger, representing Nutrition and Services for Seniors, has applied for a zone change from RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling) District to RM-M (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Medium Density) District and a specific use permit to allow for the expansion of Nutrition and Services for Seniors, including office space, senior center, storage and parking in a RM-M District. The property is located at 4520 Concord. Ms. Schellenberger states that Nutrition and Services for Seniors is proposing to purchase Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church at the northwest corner of Concord and Travis. Nutrition and Services for Seniors would like to use the existing building for additional office space, a senior center and storage. The existing parking on the property would help alleviate a parking shortage that currently exists. Exhibits are attached. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION Notices mailed to property owners 17 .
