The Planning Manager recommends approval.
The American Postal Workers’ Union is requesting a zone change on behalf of Eugene
G. Koch, Pastor of the Christ Community Church, from LI (Light Indistrial) to GC-MD
(General Commercial – Multiple Family Dwelling). The subject property is located at
4380 Fannett Road. This zone change will allow for the property to be used as a church.
It is in keeping with the character of the surrounding neighborhood.
The north 228’± of the parcel is already zoned GC-MD, while the south 176’± of the
parcel is zoned LI. A church is a permitted as of right use in the GC-MD zoning district.
Parcels to the north, north east, and west are all in the zoned GC-MD district.
