FILE: 2245-P ___ STAFF REPORT Staff recommends approval of the request. Chris Ali, on behalf of Dr. Arfeen, is asking to open a cocktail bar at 6632 Phelan Blvd. The property is zoned GC-MD (General Commercial-Multiple Family Dwelling). The cocktail bar is to be called "Portus" and will be serving patrons 25 years old and up. Hours of operation will be 6pm to 2am, therefore interference with parking for surrounding businesses will be minimal. Please note that final occupancy approval is subject to review and acceptance of submitted plans and field inspections to verify compliance with applicable codes. Exhibits are attached.
