STAFF REPORT
Staff recommends approval of the request.
Bayou Ventures, Inc. is requesting a Specific Use Permit to operate a wholesale automotive parts
distribution center at 660 Fannin Street. Kyle Stratton, owner of Bayou Ventures, has been in
operation since 2008 and is hoping to expand. The new products will require more space,
which he feels the property at 660 Fannin Street can provide. All products are delivered, and
there will be no store front for retail sales. A new garage door opening will be cut in the front
of the structure to provide better access to the space.
Please note that final occupancy approval is subject to review and acceptance of submitted plans
and field inspections to verify compliance with applicable codes.
Exhibits are attached.
