Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request for a certificate of appropriateness to allow the demolition of a house FILE: CA-1539 STAFF REPORT The Planning Manager recommends approval. Pam Loiacano, Demolition Coordinator, has applied for a certificate of appropriateness to allow the demolition of the residential structure at 2669 Broadway. The structure was tagged as substandard on July 29, 2008. Phillip Long is the owner of the property. He has not enrolled in a work program. Ms. Loiacano states that the structure has 50% or more damage of non-supporting members. Two outer walls have collapsed on the north and east sides of the structure. This structure had previously received a certificate of appropriateness for renovations. This property is not listed in the SPARE Beaumont Survey. Exhibits are attached.
