STAFF REPORT
The Planning Manager recommends denial of that portion of the fence
th
that is between 7 St. and the garage apartment and between the
front of the house and Liberty.
Sidney Caywood has requested a certificate of appropriateness to allow
the replacement of an existing 4' tall chain link fence with a 5' tall
chain link fence. The property is located at 2290 Liberty.
The fence either exists or existed along the north and east property
lines. Mr. Caywood states that the fence is storm damaged. Part of
the fence along the east property line has been removed.
Fences within a front or corner side yard must be constructed of
wrought iron, wood or brick. Chain link fences are permitted only in
back yards and must not be visible from abutting streets.
Exhibit is attached.
