The Planning Manager recommends approval.
In February, 2008, City Council approved an HC-L Designation on
the property at 1315 Calder. The A Polk @ house was later demolished
in December, 2010. However, the historic designation remains on
the property.
James Clark has bought the property and is requesting that the
historic designation be removed. It is the intent of James and
Michelle Clark to build a commercial building on the property that will
be used for event planning and for the hosting of receptions.
