SUBJECT: Request for a certificate of appropriateness to replace 3” reveal shiplap style
siding with 5” reveal.

STAFF REPORT
Staff recommends denial of the request.
Gonzalo Torres wishes to replace patches of 8” shiplap siding with 4” shiplap on his
house at 2312 Evalon St. The majority of the house will retain the 8” shiplap. Mr. Torres
states that the two rows of the 4” fit perfectly replace 1 row of the 8” and therefore is not
noticeable.
The house is not listed in the SPARE Beaumont Survey.
