Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request for a certificate of appropriateness to allow the demolition of a residential structure FILE: CA-2232 STAFF REPORT Boyd Meier, Deputy Building Official, has applied for a certificate of appropriateness to allow the demolition of a residential structure located at 2305 Harrison. Mr. Meier states that the structure was tagged on March 29, 2012. The inspection report states that the foundation is deteriorated and rotten. The structure is sitting on the ground. The house is listed in the 1991 SPARE Beaumont Survey. SPARE states that the house was built c. 1930 and is of the National Folk style. The house is an example of the Late National Folk style built in the 1920's. Exhibits are attached.
