SUBJECT: Request for a certificate of appropriateness to widen a driveway in front of the
house.

STAFF REPORT
Staff recommends denial of the portion of the driveway located in front of the house.
Hector V. Lopez would like to widen the driveway to his house located at 2249 Evalon
Street. Although there is not much room between the house and the neighboring property, there
is opportunity to widen the driveway slightly without placing a portion of it in front of the
existing house. Staff has recommended angling the apron to allow easier access to the driveway.
The house is not listed in the SPARE Beaumont Survey.
