SUBJECT: Request for a certificate of appropriateness to restore the garage apartment, paint
the main house, build a deck off the rear of the main house, replace a back window with a door,
add two windows to the rear of house, and repaint the garage apartment to match the main house.

STAFF REPORT
Staff recommends approval subject to the following condition:
1) All new and replacement windows to have nine (9) panes over one (1) pane, with brown
trim paint to match existing trim color.
Reynard Rigues has submitted an application for the house and garage apartment at 2330
South to repaint the main house the existing color, build a 10’x10’ deck off of the rear of the
main house, replace a window at the rear of the house with a door, and add two windows to the
rear of the house. He has also asked to restore the garage apartment to match the existing
appearance and then paint the garage apartment to match the main house.
The house is not listed in the SPARE Beaumont Survey.
