FILE: CA-2953 STAFF REPORT James Eller would like to add a circular drive/parking area in the front yard of his house located at 2332 Evalon Avenue. Mr. Eller is currently parking a number of cars in the street at this location, in addition to a number of vehicles filling his current driveway. The circular drive would be used to park those vehicles, currently located in the street, in the front yard. Staff recommends denial of the request as the spirit of the ordinance discourages parking in front yards. The house is in the 1991 SPARE Beaumont Survey. SPARE states that the house was built c.1940. The house was listed as an example of middle class housing built since the 1930's. A precursor to the modern ranch. Exhibits are attached.
