Richardson, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Request for a variance to the minimum rear yard building setback from 15' to 10' FILE: 556-BA STAFF REPORT Rosetta Jones, Pastor of Kingdom Connection Outreach Church, is requesting a variance to the rear yard building setback from 15' to 10' for a building to be constructed at 3655 Highland. In May, 2007, the church received a specific use permit to construct the new building and additional parking. The new building will be adjacent to an existing building. The existing building is built approximately 10' from the rear property line. Pastor Jones states that the new building will be used as a banquet hall/kitchen for church activities. The applicant shall have the burden of proof to demonstrate that all three conditions necessary for approval have been met. Exhibits are attached.
