RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on .October 4, 1976, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas -l'. -certain lien in -the amount of $55.00,
including costs of recording, covering E. 50 x 70 ft. Lot 6, Block 9, Chaison
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is
recorded in the M & L Records of said county in Volume 1649 at Page 135; and,,
WHEREAS, on .October 4, 1976, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of $95.00,
including costs of recording, covering Plat D5, Tract 10, A. Williams Survey,
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is recorded in the
M & L Records of said county in Volum 1649 at Page 296; and,
WHEREAS, on July 19, 1976, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of $55:.00,
including costs of recording, covering Lots 19 and 20, Block 17, Sunnyside
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is
recorded in the M &_L Records of said county in Volume 1634 at Page 173; and,
WHEREAS, on October 29, 1971, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County.Clerk of. Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of $15.00,
including costs of recording, covering Lots 11 and 12, Block 9, Van Wormer
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is
recorded in the M & L Records of said county in Volum 1408 at Page 407; and,
WHEREAS, on February 10, 1975, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of $55.00,
including costs of recording, covering the E.50 ft. of Lot 14, Block 20, Gulf
Terrace Addition to the City of -Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said
lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said county in -Volum 1555 at Page
494; and,
WHEREAS, on May 25, 1976, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of $55.00,

WHEREAS, on October 4, 1976, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of $115.00,
including costs of recording, covering Lot 7 to Lot 10, W. 1/2 Lot 11, Block
22, McFaddin Second Addition to the City of Beaumont,.Jefferson County, Texas,
which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said county in Volume
1649 at Page 264; and,
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1969, the City of Beaumont did file with the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of $15.0.0,
including costs of recording, covering the North part of Tract 167, Meentzen
Brothers Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said
lien -is recorded in the M & L Records of said county in Volume 1337 at Page
77; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAU43NT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute and deliver
to B. B. Barkley, Louise Clesi Estate, Gulf Building &.;Loan Company, Miriam
A. McClure and Waurine Washingtona release of the above-described liens for
and in consideration of the sums aforementioned, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and
to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that.Ken Ritter, Mayor, be, and he is hereby
authorized to execute and deliver to Joseph A. Lafedge and Autrey L. Moore a
release of the above-described lien for and in consideration of the sum afore-
mentioned, because lien was filed with an inaccurate account number.
