R E S O L U T I O N
W EREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont heretofore
appointed an Advisory Conua.ttee to study the control and regulation.of the
use of alcoholic beverages in the'Communi_ty Facilities of the City of
Beaumont; and,
W=2EAS, the Advisory Committee for the control and regulation of
alcoholic beverages has met and has reccmTended a policy for the control and
regulation of alcoholic beverages to the City of`Beaumont;, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt the policy recoation
of said committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF ..THE CITY`.OF BEAMENT:
THAT the recommendation of the Advisory Committee for the control and reg-
ulation of alcoholic beverages, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part of this resolution for all purposes be, and the same is hereby, adopted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the

OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
"The Advisory Committee for the control and regulation of alcoholic
beverages recacunends to the City Council that alcoholic beverages be.per-
mitted to be sold in all areas of the Civic Center Complex, -except for the
meeting rooms in the Civic Center, Auditorium, Harvest Club and YMBL Building,
which will:be designated dry, to be covered by a caterer's license, so that
the City Manager or his designee may permit any approved group under contract
with the City to bring its own alcoholic beverages into these areas, with the
exception of the VIP Room, alcoholic beverages will not be served at any
function catering primarily .to minors."
