RESOLUTION
WiEREAS, bids were received for the hauling.and placing of
an asphalt surfacing on Willow Street from north of North Street to
Calder and on Irving Street frcgn Buford to Madison Street; and,
WHEREAS, A. F. Jones Construction Company submitted a bid in
theamount of Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred and No/100:($11,800.00)
Dollars for said hauling and placing of an asphalt surfacing on
Willow Street from north of North Street to Calder and on Irving
Street from Buford to Madison Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by A. F. Jones Construction Company is the lavest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of A. F. Jones Construction Company in the amount of $11,800.00
for the asphalt surfacing on Willow Street from north of North Street to
Calder and on Irving Street from Buford to Madison Street be accepted by
the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is hereby authorized
to make payment upon successful completion of said project.
