RE'S0 L'UT I'O'N
WHEREAS, the acquisition of right of way for the extension
and widening of Delaware Street from Dowlen Road to the Eastex Free-
way is essential to the location, construction, widening and mainte-
nance of Dowlen Road, and is considered in the best interest of the'
City of Beaumont and its citizenry;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Director of Community Development be, and he is hereby,
directed to proceed with preliminary work such as title reports and
appraisals for the acquisition of said right of way, with a maximum
payment to said appraisers of TWO THOUSAND AND N0/100 ($2,000.00)
DOLLARS, and with payment to be made to a title company based on State
regulated fees for title opinions, and the appraisers to be American
Real Estate Company and Mr. Jack Aulbaugh.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
