BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager, Kenneth R. Devero, be and he is hereby, autho-
rized to execute an easement granting to Gulf States Utilities Company
the right to construct, maintain, operate, inspect, replace, repair,
patrol and remove underground electric service lines, said easement be-
ing five (51) feet in width, extending from the surface of the ground
downward, and being two and one-half (22') feet on each side of under-
ground electric service lines as now, or hereafter, located upon and
under that certain tract of land owned by the City of Beaumont, being
situated in the James Drake Survey, A-18, in Jefferson County, Texas,
fully described in Volumes 141 and 145, Pages 492 and 21, respectively,
of the Deed Records of said county and state.
