WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
850 feet of 2, inch fire hose for the Fire Department to replace that
damaged in the Goodyear fire; and,
WHEREAS, Claude Wright & Associates submitted a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Four Hundred Eighty -Seven and No/100 ($1,487.90)
Dollars for the 850 feet of 211� inch fire hose for the Fire Department;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Claude Wright & Associates is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT ,the bid of Claude Wright & Associates in the amount of $1,487.,50
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said fire hose upon acceptable
delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
