R E' S O L' U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City.of Beaumont received bids for the furnish-
ing of regular pit sand and 60-40 sand -clay mix for municipal pur-
poses for the City of Beaumont for the period beginning August 1,
1974, and ending July 31, 1975; and,
WHEREAS, C. FE'S. Truck Line, Inc. submitted a bid for furnish-
ing such regular pit sand and 60-40 sand -clay mix; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by C. & S. Truck Line, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted, and that a contract with C. & S. Truck Line, Inc.
for furnishing regular pit sand and 60-40 sand -clay mix should be
executed, and that said regular pit sand and 60-40 sand -clay mix be
purchased from C. & S. Truck Line, Inc. under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of C. & S. Truck Line, Inc. be accepted and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf of the
City of Beaumont a contract with C. & S. Truck Line, Inc. for furnish-
ing regular pit sand and 60-40 sand -clay mix for municipal purposes
for the period beginning August 1, 1974, and ending July 31, 1975, at
the unit prices as specified in their bid; and that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized to attest to said contract and to affix
the Seal o'f the City of Beaumont thereto.
