RESOLUTION NO .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
THAT THE property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto':
and made a part hereof for all purposes be.conveye-d to the.State
of Texas and that the City Manager be, and is hereby, authorized
to execute and deliver a -warranty deed conveying the same; and,
THAT a copy of this Resolution be spread'upon the Minutes. -
of the, City Council.

Interstate Highway 10
Being 1.9618 acres of land, more or less, same being out of and a
part of that certain tract of land out of the James Drake Survey,
Abstract No. 18 and the James McFaddin Survey, Abstract No. 165
and a part of Lots2 and 3, Block No. 1, Lots 1 and 4, Block 2 and
Lot 1, Block 3 of the Collier Addition, which a map or plat of
said Addition is recorded in Volume 9, Page 305 of the Deed Records
of Jefferson County, Texas, said tracts of land were conveyed to
the City of Beaumont by the following instruments that are recorded
in the Deed Records of Jefferson County, Texas;
1., Volume 865, Page 297, dated August 23, 1952
2. Volume 345; Page 454, dated March 19, 1931
3. Volume 887, Page 514, dated March 6, 1953
4. Volume 716, Page 569, dated October 18, 1948
5. Volume 141, Page 492, dated April 17, 1914
Said 1.9618 acres of land, more or less, being composed of 1.8045
acre tract for new right of way and 0.1573 acre tract being dedicated
street and alleys. Said 1.9618 acres of land being,more fully
described in three (3) tracts or parcels of land by metes and bounds
as follows;
PARCEL NO. 15-A. Part 1
Being 0.006 acre or land, more or less, of which 0.0003 acre is in _a
dedicated alley and being out of.the James Drake Survey, Abstract
No. 18;
Commencing at the northwest corner of a 1.44 acre tract, said 1.44
acre tract being described as the third tract in deed dated April 17,
1914, of record in Volume 141, Page 492, Deed Records, Jefferson
County, Texas, said corner being in the east line of Pine Street;
thence South 3°-54'-11.93" East along the east line of Pine Street,
a distance of 240.8274 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract
herein conveyed;
THENCE South 220-441-32.86" East along the proposed north right of
way line of Interstate Highway 10, a distance of 54.4032 feet to a
point on the existing north right of way line of Interstate Highway
10;
THENCE North 430-10'-11.93" West along the existing north right of
way line of Interstate Highway 10, a distance of 27.7557 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE North 30-54'-11.93" West along the east line of Pine Street,
a distance of 30.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

corner in the west bank of Brake's Bayou;

a distance of 87.4741 feet to a point in the existing north right of
way line of Interstate Highway 10;
THENCE South.88°-34'-52.13" West along the said existing north right
of way line of Interstate Highway 10, a distance of 312.76 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE North 82°-42'-25.67" West, along the said existing north right
of way line of Interstate Highway 10, a distance of 510.0684 feet to
a point for corner;
THENCE South 88°-19'-18.05" East, a distance of 240.9122 feet to a

or less, is in dedicated streets and alley, in the James Drake Survey,

Commencing at the northwest corner of a 1.44 acre tract of land now
owned by the City of Beaumont, Texas, in the James Drake Survey,
Abstract No. 18, Jefferson County, Texas, said corner being in the
