WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. entered
into a certain contract dated February 27, 1973, by which agreement
J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. agreed to provide material, equipment and labor
for the construction of CIP Project 11 -ST -05, the same being Corley,
Madison, and Sycamore; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 to said contract has been proposed,
under which said Change Order No. 2 certain changes will be made in
the specifications amounting to an increase in the contract price of
$25,035.00 extra to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be,'and he is hereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described Change Order`No.
2 to the original contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City thereto.
