WHEREAS, bids were received on May 28, 1974, for the furnish-
ing of irrigation materials for the Municipal Center Complex; and,
WHEREAS, Industrial Plastics submitted a bid in the amount
of $3,500.45 for Group 1; Universal Palestine submitted a bid in
the amount of $2,815.16 for Group Nos. 2, 4, 9, & 11; and Hall
Equipment $ Supply submitted a bid in the amount of $1,161.26 for
Group No. 5, 6, 8 & 10 for the irrigation materials for the Muni-
cipal Center Complex; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Industrial Plastics, Universal Palestine, and Hall
Equipment & Supply were the lowest and best bids in their respec-
tive Groups, and they should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bicb of Industrial Plastics, Universal Palestine, and Hall
Equipment & Supply be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the
appropriate City Official is'hereby authorized to make payment for
said irrigation materials upon acceptable delivery and/or installa-
tion.
