R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, certain streets exist in the City of
Beaumont that have never received an official name by the
City Council of the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont
desires to name said streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the following general locations, unless otherwise designated,
are hereby designated streets and are more particularly described
in the map of the City of Beaumont attached hereto and marked
"Exhibit A" and made a part hereof are hereby given names as
follows:
1. Jones—Running east and west from Wescalder
to the Beaumont City limits parallel between Baker and Felix
Streets.
2. Burbank—From Washington Boulevard south to
Pevitot Road parallel to Montrose.
3. South Caldwood Drive—From the south end of West
Caldwood Drive east to the south end of East Caldwood Drive.
4. Old Voth Road—From the intersection of Broad Oak
and Old Voth Road, north approximately 550 feet, then west
approximately 500 feet to its intersection with Stonetown,
then north to the Pine Island Bayou.
5. Jamestown—From Oak Ridge, south to its dead end
approximately 282 feet parallel between Carpenter and Loop.
6. Pine Ridge—West from Jamestown Street to its dead
end approximately 493 feet.
7. Olin Road—From Port Arthur Road, northeast to
the City limits of the City of Beaumont between Cardinal Stadium
and MrKaGGnn _
8. Ohio—From Port Arthur Road, southeast to
Spindletop Avenue generally connecting Spur 380 to Loop 251
and being intersected by Kingsley.
9. Tannis—From Fletcher south to Simmons and
parallel between Primer and Tenaha.
10. Blanch.—From LaSalle south to Gill east: of Pine
Street.
11. Abattoir From the west end of Westmoreland
south to the west end of St. James.
