A R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 1971, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, filed with the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, one certain lien in the amount of $52.50, including all
costs of recording, covering T. Spear 94 5A R/W Thru Survey to
S/L Duwe Survey 10 68/100Ac., in the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records
of said County in Volume 1405 at Page 400; and
WHEREAS, SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY the owner
of said property, desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the money
represented by said lien and have same released to them;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That KEN RITTER, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
and deliver to the said SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, a re-
lease of the above described lien, for and in consideration of the
sum of $52.50, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the
City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the
Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
