R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Gulf Building and Loan, a landowner in the
City of Beaumont, and the City of Beaumont are mutually interested
in making street improvements in the Gulf Terrace Addition con-
sisting of Norvell Street from Landis to McLean, including Ney
Street 140' on each -side of Norvell.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said
improvements are in the best interest of the citizens of the
City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Building and Loan has agreed to place in
escrow Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Seventeen and 60/100
($14,117.60) Dollars as its anticipated participation in said
improvements, and the City of Beaumont shall allocate Seven
Thousand Fifty -Eight and 80/100 ($7,058.80) Dollars as its estimated
participation in said improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
on the behalf of the City of Beaumont an agreement with Gulf
Building and Loan for participation in the said street improvements
in the Gulf Terrace Addition consisting of Norvell Street from
Landis to McLean, including Ney Street 140` on each side of
Norvell, and providing therein that the City shall allocate Seven
Thousand Fifty -Eight and 80/100 ($7,058.80) Dollars as its
estimated participation, and providing therein that Gulf Building
and Loan shall place in escrow Fourteen Thousand One Hundred
Seventeen and 60/100 ($14,117.60) Dollars as its estimated
participation in said improvements; and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to affix the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
