R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, by lease agreement dated September 23, 1969,
the City of Beaumont, as lessor, leased to Lee Sheffield, as lessee,
a certain tract of land upon which is located the present Beaumont
Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, said lease agreement requires lessee to construct
twelve (12) new T -hangars on the leased premises, said construction
to be financed by a loan obtained by lessee secured by a security
interest in the new hangars;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
on behalf of the City of Beaumont an agreement with Lee Sheffield
authorizing Sheffield to finance construction of said additional
hangars in accordance with the terms of said lease agreement; and that
the City Clerk is authorized to attest to same and to affix the
seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
