BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized
to execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont, Texas,. that certain
contract dated September 5, 1969, between Trotti & Thomson, Inc.
and M. L. Lefler,Jr., Frank Dover, W.*Cavett Brown, C. A. Kohler,
Oscar N. Eldridge and the City of Beaumont, Texas, according to
the terms therein, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
theretoand affix the seal of the City of Beaumont to said contract.
Passed by the City Council at a Special Meeting this
the 5th day of September, 1969.

A R E S 0 L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the developers of Dowlen Manor Unit III,
Lots 18 and 19, Block l and Lots 9 and 10, Block 3, have com-
pleted the street, drainage, water line, and sanitary sewer
improvements serving said addition; the improvements on Afton
Lane consist of five inch (51''') reinforced concrete pavement
with six inch (6") integral concrete curb, twenty-seven feet
(27') in width back of curb to back of curb; and the developers
of said addition are desirous of having these improvements
accepted and maintained by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the city engineer recommends that said im-
provements qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance;
and the City Council is of the opinion that said improvements
should be accepted and maintained by The City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the street, drainage, water line, and sanitary sewer im-
provements, as above described, in Dowlen Manor Unit III be
and the same are hereby accepted by The City of Beaumont and
shall be continuously maintained by the said city.
