A RESOLUT ION
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of April, 1961, The City
of Beaumont recovered judgment against Industrial Bolt Co.,
Inc. in the amount of $831.69, said judgment being in Cause
No. 20503, in the County Court at Law, Jefferson County, Texas,
and an Abstract of Judgment, having been filed in Volume 13,
Page 67 of the Abstract of Judgment Records of Jefferson
County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, Industrial Bolt Co., Inc. has tendered to
The City of Beaumont the amount of the judgment, with interest
and costs thereon, and desires a release of any and all liens
existing by reason of such judgment, and the City Council is
of the opinion that such release should be executed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of The City of Beaumont
on the 29th day of May, 1962, passed a resolution authorizing
a release of the said judgment, but no release was ever
executed by The City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to
execute and deliver an instrument to Industrial Bolt Co., Inc.,
releasing to the said Industrial Bolt Co., Inc., any and all
liens existing by reason of such judgment; and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument and to affix
the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
