A RE SOLUTION
WHEREAS, the developers of Dowlen West Addition,
Block 1, Lots 13 through 25, Block 3, Lots 19 through 31,
Block 4, Lots 15 through 27, and Block 5, Lots 11 through
25, have completed the street, drainage, water line, and
sanitary sewer improvements serving said addition; the
improvements on Elaine Drive, Wisteria Drive, Wedgewood.
Drive, Lockwood Drive and Salem Circle consist of five inch
(5") reinforced concrete pavement with six inch (611) integral
concrete curb, twenty-seven feet (27') in width back of curb
to back of curb; and the developers of said addition are
desirous of having these improvements accepted and main-
tained by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the city engineer recommends that said
improvements qualify for acceptance for permanent mainta-
nance; and the City Council is of the opinion that said
improvements should be accepted and maintained by The City
of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the street, drainage, water line and sanitary sewer im-
provements, as -above described, in Dowlen West Addition be
and the same are hereby accepted by The City of Beaumont
and shall be continuously maintained by the said city.
PASSED by the City Council this 14th day of
January, 1969.
