SECTION 1.
That the execution of said. bonds by the aforesaid -6.'A.
Steinhagen as ;,"ayor, ueorge d. w:oark as Director of finance, an B,
C. Le Baron.as city clerk, is hereby in all things adopted, ratified
and confirmed, and said bonds are hereby declared to be legal, valid
and subsisting obligations of the City of Beaumont, according to their
face and tenor, effect and reading.
SECTION 2,
The fact that the 'dater Works of the Oity of Beaumont are
in present need of funds for building ext6nsions on the 'dater Works
plant so as to adequately supply the .residents of the 6ity of Beau-
mont with water, creates an emergency and an imperative public necess-
ity requiring the rule that ordinances be read at three separate
meetings to be suspended, and the said rule is hereby suspended and
this ordinance shall go into effect from and after its passage.

Beaumont', hereby certify that the signatures of 3. A. Stein-
hagen as Mayor, George d. Roark as uirector of finance, and
B. C. Le Baron as Lity Clerk, on the i3eaumont Water Works Bonds
dated October 11 1922, and being a part of a Three Hundred kif-
ty''Iehousand Lollar l'?350,000.00 issue, are the genuine signa-
tures of said respective parties, and that said 8350.000.00 issue
of `eater Works Bonds were all actually signed by said persons in
their respective capacities while they were duly, legally and ac-
tually holding the respective offices mentioned.
