G_:L'1LZTING to the Texarkana and Fort Smith RaiD ay Company, its
successors or assir ns, the right and privilege to re -locate certain
tracks in and across Railroad Avenue, College Street, 1.11all Street,
Victoria Avenue, .Forsythe Street and the alley in block 68, Van
Dormer Addition; with the right to maintain such tracks and operate
its trains and cars thereover for a ��eriod of twenty-five years
a1.1d prescribing the conditions to be fulfilled before said
ordinance shall go into effect, and the time liriitE../for the removal
of said tracks and the period for, which the ord inaa.1c e shall remain
in effect.

Section 1.
That the Texarkana.. and Fort Smith Railway Company, its
successors and. assigns, is hereby granted the right and privilege
to take up and - remove those certain standard gauge railroad tracks
nov, located in and across Railroad Avenue, College Street, 17all
Stteet, Victoria Avenue,Street mid the alley in Block 681)
Van :!ormer Addition, the locations of which tracks are indicated
-by broken red lines upon .the attached blue print jr7'v ch is r-ia,de a
part her eof; also the right and privilege to re-lay and construct
said tracks at new locations in axed across said streets aild alley
as indicated by solid red lines upon said blue print, and the right
and privilege to maintain said tracks as relocated and constructed,
and to operate its trains and cars thereover Tor a period of`

The westerly track in Railroad Avenue at the intersection of
College Street .to be moved westerly a distaxlce of thirteen (13)
feet,. more or less, as measured along the center line of the Eastern
Texas Electric Comp.anyts track in College Street.
A track to be constructed in Railroad Avenue, breaking out
southeasterly from the westerly track above mentioned at a point
near the southerly lime of College ;street and crossing Railroad
Avenue southeasterly to Block 1, Van Ido Ener Addition.

connect with the B. S. L.� & .1,I.: track and to extend out across the alley
in said Block 68. sixty-five (65) feet, more or le -ss;; easterly from
the easterly line of Victoria Avenue. The track immediately west of
said crossover track to be for interchange with the B. S: L. r 7,61. Rail-
way; said -track to cross alley in Block 68 forty (40) feet east
of the east line os Victoria jveriue: The track immediately west of
said. interchange track in UTall Street to be- a' ladder: track conm,ct ing
with the yard tracks to the west -
On 7-ictoria Avalue and Forsythe Street the .northerly track now
crossing from Block 66, Van. ' ormer Addition, across Forsythe. Street to
Block 69 and then. crossing Victoria Avenue to Block 68, to be moved
so as to crass in a straight line from Block 66 across i'orsa the
;street, thence across Victoria Avenzze.- 'to Block 68; this track to be;
a continuation of the above mentioned interchange track.
The yard track crossing Victoria Avenue, being the pc�esent
fourth track southerly from Forsythe Street, to be moved southerly
fifteen (15) feet, more or less; as measured along the easterly line
of Victoria Avenue and will be the continuation of the above mentioned.

Section 4.
This ordinance is passed subject to all the terms and provisions
of the charter of the City of Beaumont.
Section 5.
This ordinance shall go into effect sixty days after its adoption
on its third and final -reading and the filing of acceptance and pub-
lication, and shall continue in full force and effect for a -Deriod
of twenty-five ?ears thereafter.
