Orleans street from Austin Street to Dmmett ,street

Two-thirds of the cost of paving and gutter and incidental drain-
age, and all the cost of curbing said streets, apportionable to
the hereinafter referred to property; and declaring said tax a
lien upon said property and a personal debt upon the ovv�ler. or
owners thereof and providing a time when said tax shall become

costs incurred in collact ing same and if not paid ' at the time

Section 1..
That there is hereby assessed G.gainst the several ,ovrners of

'dillour Street from Calder Avenue to.T,iberty Avenue
as a tax tiro -thirds (2/3) of the cost of paving and gutter and
incidental drainage, and all the' cost of curbing on said portion
of said Streets.
The lot, lots, parts of lots, blocks or tracts of land
on Which said tax is levied and assessed is hereinafter
described, together with the numb"e-r of feet front on each
lot, parts of lots, blocks or tracts of land, and name and
names of the o,iraer 'or ov,, ers" thereof anal the propo-rt;ionate
amount of the cost of said paving and gutter, a.nd the co--st of
said curbing to be borne and paid for by such ovaaer, or owners

That said tax so levied and assessed shell become due.
and payable upon completion of the paving upon the pocetior_s
of said streets; upon which said lot, lots; parts of lots,
blocks or tracts of land front and abut, and. the amount of the
tax hereby levied and assessed, together with the cost of col-
lectitZg ;same and seven per cent pur annum from the date sante
is collectible until pat d, is hereby declared' a lien against
the said lot, lots, part of, lots, blocks or tracts of land,
superior to all other liens, claims or title except city;
county and state taxes, and shall constitute a personal charge
or claim against the omler or o,tme-rs of the said lots, parts
of lots, blocks or tracts of land.

TI:e fact that the foregoing _oor ti ons of streets are in
bad condition and badly in need- of paving in.-orde-r--to---f-aci-litat-e—
the heavy traffic over same creates an emergency and an imperative
.public necessity necessitating tl) suspension of the rule requiring
ordinances to be read on three separate meetings, said rule is
therefore hereby suspended and -this Ordinazice shall take effect
from and after its passage and publication.
Passed this the / day, of June, A. D. 19 24, by' the
affirmative vote of all members of the Commission.

That there is hereby assessed
against the several owners of prop-
erty and against their respective
property abutting upon Orleans
Street from Austin Street to Em-
mett Street; Willow- Street from
Calder Avenue to. Liberty Avenue
as a tax two-thirds (2-3) of the
cost of paving and gutter and in-
cidental drainage, and all the cost
of curbing on said portion of said
Streets.
The lot, lots, parts of lots, blocks
or tracts of land on which said tax
is levied and assessed is hereinafter
described, together with the num-
ber of feet front on each lot, parts
of lots. blocks or tracts of land, and
name and names of the owner or
owners 'thereof and the proportion-
ate amount of the cost of said pav-
ing an(%$gutter, and the cost of said
.d5irbing to be borne and paid for by
such owner or owners as shown by
the statement prepared by the City
Engineer of The City of Beaumont,
