SUBJECT: A request for a certificate of appropriateness to paint a house.

STAFF REPORT
Raul Barajas, property owner, is asking permission to paint the exterior of the structure at 2240
Rusk. Samples of the paint are attached and will be available at the meeting. Mr. Barajas has
already purchased the paint.
Staff recommends approval of Mr. Barajas paint choice as submitted.
The house is in the 1990 SPARE Beaumont Survey. SPARE states that the house was built in
1930. The house is an example of middle class housing built in Beaumont in the 1920's and
1930's.
