Block No. 22, Cartwright Terrace Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Texas.

Cartwright Land & Improvement Co., TYI. Burge, Ernest Fuchs, Jr.,
J.F. Gilbert, J.C. Mathes, and G-lf Building & Loan Company,
owners of Block No. 22 of the Cartwright Terrace .to the City of
Beaumont ,'hass been presented to the Uity Commission of the City _
of Beaumont requesting that such alley be closed and vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDA I[iED BY THC CITY COMMISSION
ION
OF 'THS CITY OF BEAM1ONT :
That the alley located in Block No. 22 of the Cartwright
Terrace to the -city of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, au-
thorized- to be vacated and closed, and that the title to such alley
shall revert to and become the property of the respective owners
of -the land in said blocks bordering on said alley, as provided
by law; provided, however, that the closing of this alley shall in
no way affect the rights of the City as to placing and maintaining
therein of any sewer or,'water lines, or any other service or util-
ity of the City, all of which rights are hereby reserved.
