AN. ORDINANCE
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 42 OF THE.
CODE OF ORDINANCES. OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, AND IN
PARTICULAR THE BOUNDARIES. OF THE ZONING DISTRICTS
AS INDICATED UPON THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT REFERRED TO IN SECTION 42--9 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE
CLASSIFICATION OF LOTS 1, 2., AND 3 IN BLOCK 218;
LOTS.1, 2, 3, 51, 52, AND 53 IN.BLOCK 217; LOTS
44, 45, AND 46 IN BLOCK 214; LOTS 1, 2, 3, 52,' 53,
AND 54 IN BLOCK 213; LOTS 1, 2, 3, 52, 53, AND 54

TEXAS, PRESENTLY ZONED ttC--lax TO "R-ltt'. .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That Chapter 42 of the Code of Ordinances.of Beaumont,
Texas, and i.n.particular the boundaries of the zoning districts as
indicated upon the Zoning Map of the City referred.to in Section
42--9 thereof, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classifica-
tion of the following described property presently zoned TIC -Its,
Neighborhood Commercial District, to ttRtiltt, Single Family Dwelling
District, to wit:
Being the following.lots in the Glenwood Addition
to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas:
Lots 1, 2, and 3 in Block 218;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 51, 52, and 53 in Block 217;
Lots 44, 45, and 46 in Block 214;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 52, 53, and 54 in Block 213;
Lots 15 25 :3, 52, 53, and 5.4 in Block 212;
Lots 1,_2, 3, 52, 53, and 54 in Block 211;
Lots 1; 2, 3, 24, 25, and 26 in Block 210;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 24, 25, and 26 in Block 200;
Lots 4, 5, and 6, Block 11;
and the said official zoning map -of The .City of Beaumont is hereby
amended to reflect such changes.

Section Z.
That in all other respects the use of the property hereinabove des-
cribed shall be subject to all of the applicable regulations contained in
Chapter 42 of the Code of 'Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, adopted August 19,
1958, effective October 19, 1958, as amended.
Section 3.
That the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed to be
severable and that if the validity of the zoning .affecting any portion of the
property described hereinabove shall be declared to be invalid, the same
shall not affect the validity of the zoning of the balance of the property des-
cribed herein.
Section 4.
That any p,er_son or corporation violating any of the terms and
provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to the same penalties provided
for in.the said Chapter 42 of the Code of Ordinances
