DELIVER A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED TO THE STATE OF
TEXAS, ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE STATE HIGHWAY
COMMISSION, CONVEYING 0.041 ACRE OF LAND, MORE
OR LESS, OUT OF THE R. C. RO.GERS LEAGUE, ABSTRACT
NO. 46, HARDIN COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR A CASH -CONSIDER
ATION OF $40.00.
BRIT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: TEXAS:
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to
execute and deliver a general warranty deed on behalf of The City
of Beaumont conveying'0.•041 acre of land, more or less, for the
purpose of widening .and relocating Farin-To.M. arket Road No. 421 in
Hardin County, Texas, extending from U. S. Highway 69 to,1.5 miles
west -on what is known as the Ariola Road, to The State of Texas,
acting by and through the.State Highway Commission, upon receipt
of Forty..($40.00) Dollars cash, said 0.041 acre of land being more
fully described by metes and bounds.as follows:
9.041 acre of land, more or less, same being out
of and a part of that certain one (1) acre tract
of land out of the R. C. Rogers League, Abstract
No. 46, in Hardin County, Texas, which one (1)wacre
tract was conveyed to City of Beaumont, Texas, by
deed dated September 23, 1959, of record in Volume
391, Page 499, Deed Records of Hardin County, Texas,
which 0.041 acre of land, more or less, is more par-
ticularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING at grantor's southeast property corner,
a concrete marker for corner, thence North 37 degrees
17 minutes west a distance of 275.61 feet to the
place of beginning;
THENCE North 37 degrees 17 minutes west a distance
of 14.39 feet with grantor's east property line to
a point for corner in the existing south right -of. -
way line of F.M. Highway 421;
THENCE South 54 degrees 15 minutes 14 seconds west
a distance of 150 feet with the existing south
right-of-way line of F.M. Highway 421, same being
grantor's north property line, to a point for corner;
THENCE south 37 degrees 17 minutes east a distance
of 9.15 feet with grantor's west property line, same
being east right-of-way line of the T.&N.O.R.R. to a
point for corner in the proposed south right. -of -way
line of said F.M. Highway 421;
THENCE North 56 degrees 15 minutes east a distance
of 150.27 feet with said proposed south right -of -
way -line of F.M. Highway 421 to the place of begin-
ning;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru.-:
went and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
