WILLIAMS SURVEY, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, DESIGNATED AS TRACT 30, PLAT D--14, ON THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TAX ASSESSORIS FLAT BOOK, PRESENTLY ZONED "R-3" TO 'tC,_ltr BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS: Section 1. That Chapter 42 of the.Code.of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, and in particular the boundaries of the zoning districts as indicated upon the zoning map of the City referred to in Section 42.-9 thereof, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of the follow- ing described property presently zoned 44R-311, Modified Two -Family and Multiple Dwelling District, to 7?C-ltr, Neighborhood Commercial District, to wit: Being that certain tract of land in the A. Williams Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, designated as Tract 30, Flat D--14 on the City of Beaumont Tax Assessorfs Plat Book and being more particularly de- scribed by metes and bounds as.follows: Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line of Pinkston Drive as now established with the easterly right--of.-way line of the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company; Thence north 500 511 3011 east along the said northerly line of Pinkston Drive six hundred thirty and sixty-six hundredths (630.66) feet to corner; Thence north 301 201 east along the said northerly line of Pinkston Drive four hundred eighty --four and thirty- seven hundredths (484.37) feet to corner; Thence north 520 071 30,t west eight hundred ninety-four and ninety-eight hundredths (894.98) feet, more or less, to corner in the easterly line of what is commonly known as Lot 66, French Heights Addition; Thence in a southwesterly direction along the easterly lines of what is commonly known as Lots 66, 65, 64, 63 and 62, French Heights Addition, to corner in the east- erly right -of -.way line of the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company; Thence south 410 431 east along the said easterly right- of-way line of the. Texas and New Orleans Railroad Com- pany to the place of beginning; t and the said official zoning map of The City of Beaumont is hereby amended to reflect such change. Section 2. That in all other respects the use of the property hereinabove described shall be subject to all of the applicable regulations con- tained in Chapter 42 of the Code of'Ordinances of Beaumont,.Texas, adopted August 19, 1958, effective October 19, 1958, as amended. Section 3. That the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed to be severable and that if the validity of the zoning affect- ing any portion of the property described hereinabove shall be declared to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the zoning of the balance of the property described herein.
