AN.ORDINANCE FIXING THE KIND OF RATES OF FARE
TO BE CHARGED BY BEAUMONT CITY LINES, INC. ON
ALL OF ITS SCHEDULES OPERATING WITHIN THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, AND APPROVING NEW SCHEDULES
AND ROUTES NOW ON FILE WITH THE CITY OF BEAU-
MONT, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Beaumont from and after
August 8, 1959, Beaumont City Lines, Inc. shall be permitted to
charge the following rates of fare on all schedules operated by
said Beaumont City Lines, Inc., within the City of Beaumont,
Texas:
KIND OF FARE
Regular Cash Fare
Token Fare
School Children:
For school children attending
public or parochial schools of
grades not higher than public
high schools. Valid between the
hours of 6: 00 a.m. and 4:30 P.m.
on regular school days only, upon
presentation to the operator of
identification card from school
authorities.
Half Fare:
Children between the ages of five
(5) and twelve (12) years
Children under the age of five (5)
when accompanied by fare paying
passengers
Transfers
RATE OF FARE
Twenty Cents (200)
Four for Seventy -Five Cents
(4 for 750)
Cash Fare
Ten Cents (100)
Economy Fare
Price of 20 rides One Dollar
Eighty -Five Cents ($1.85).
Valid only when purchased in
a single lot, good for 20
rides.
Five Cents (50)
No Charge
Two Cents (20)
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the City of Beaumont, Texas,
that the routes and schedules filed by the Beaumont City Lines, Inc.
with the City -Clerk at the public hearing held Vlay 261 1959 her
and the.same are hereby approved as filed, and Beaumont.City
Linest Inc. shall.substantially conform with such schedules and
routes; provided, howeverl that Such schedules and routes shall
be subject to review by the City Council of the City of -Beaumont,
Texas, and Beaumont City'Lines, Inc,, from time to time, upon

request of either the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texast
or Beaumont City Lines, Inc.
