BE IT ORDAINED.BY THE CITY COUNCIL 'OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
SECTION I
That it shall hereafter be unlawful to erect or build any
-structure or house of any character of any other material than stone
or brick, on any lot, lots or parts -"of -lots within the following de-.
scribed distridt in the city of Beaumont, which shall constitute the
brick and stone' limits, to -wit:.,
Commencing at the center of the intersection of Milsm and
laqs streets ' 'Thence N;. E. alongcenter of Milam street to Center
of intedrse`ction at Milam-and Peal Streets;, Thence S. E. along
center Pearl street to center of intersection at Pearl and► Austin,
streets; Thence N. E. to S. E. corner of Block #_l.,_ Beaumont Addition;
Thence N. W. along East line of blocks No. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5, nd
Beaumont Addition, to Center of. Forsythe street,' Thence N. E. to W.
Bank Neches River. Thence. along the W., Bank of Neches River following

That any ord.inarce or part of ordinance in
conflict herewith -be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTIOP? III.
The fact that the building or wooden strti ctlur es
in the district herein named will increa,�e the fire hazaxd
and increase the danger in a highly congested business
district, creates a public necessity and emergency
requiring the suspension of the rule requiring ordinances
to be read at three separate 'm-etings. Said rule is
hereby suspen_Oed---a-nd thi s' ordinance shall take effect
and be in full force fr ora and after its passage and
publ1cation.
