SECTION I*
That it -shall be unlawful for any person -to
skate on or to operate- skates, pushmob iles or similar
apparatus in, on or upon the Streets of 'the City of
Beaumont, or upon s de. walks in the following described
district:
Beginning at the corner of Main and Washington
Streets; Thence West, along the sou#. h boundary line of
Washington Street to ' the East Boundary ldne -of Pearl
Street; Thence south on the east boundary line of Pearl
Street to the south line of Austin Street; Thence
west on the south boundary line of -Austin Street to
the east boundary line of Park Street; Thence along
the east boundary line of, Park Street to the- North -
boundary line of

the west boundary line of.Park Street to the south
boundary .line of College Street; Thence west on the
south boundary line of College Street to the _west
boundary line of Railroad Avenue; Thence north, along
the west line of Railroad. Avenue to Crockett Street;
Thence in a northerly direction to the west -boundary .1-ine
of Magnolia and Liberty Streets;tThei ee west on the
southern boundary line of Liberty Avenue to the T,& N.O.
R.R. Company tracks; Thence along said tracks to the
north line of Calder Avenue ; Then ce along sai d north line
to the southern line of Main Street; Thence' along said
southern line to the place of beginning.

That. any .per.s on violating the provi si ons of thi s

of the City, of Beaumont be' deemed guilty of a misdemeanor'
and f ined any sum not . exceeding Two' Hu.ndred..Dollars, fox
each >dffense. -
SECTION III.
The fact that there., is no method of controlling
the present reckless ,skating and use of skates, pushmobiles
and similiar .apjazatus on the streets of the, City of Beaumont
and th e s idewalks In' :the bus ines's district,- creates a pub lie
necessity and an imperative -public emergency, necessitating
the suspension of the, rule.requiring ordinances to be.,.'
read at' three 'separate meetings. Said rule is the re for e
hereby suspended and this ordinance shall go into full -
force and take effect from and after its passage and
