HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 77-118ORDINANCE NO. � / -11, ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ISSUING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR A 150 UNIT HIGH RISE APAIM4ENT PROJECT FOR A 4.03 ACRE TRACT HEREIN DESCRIBED; IN ACCORDANCE WITH A PLAN OF DEVELOPMENT; AND SUBJECT TO CER- TAIN CONDITIONS. WHEREAS, on October 20, 1977, the Planning and Zoning n,�l%j LT L i Commission of the City of Beaumont recommended the issuance of a specific use permit for a 150 unit high rise apartment project in the A. Williams Survey for that certain. 4.03 acre tract of land herein described; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the issuance of such specific use permit is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the hereinafter described condition; CITY OF BEAUMONT: Car -+-i nn l That a specific use permit for a 150 unit high rise apart- ment project in accordance with Sections 42-20.1 and Section 42-20.3, as amended, be granted to the Beaumont Elderly and Handicapped Housing Corporation for that certain 4.03 acre tract of land more particularly described as follows: Being 4.03776 acres of land out of a 17.847 acre tract of land and being part of Block 10, David French Subdivision and part of a 23.68 acre tract of the David French homestead tract in the A. Williams Survey, Abstract 385 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, said 4.03776 acre tract being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at an Iron Pin in the mst North- westerly line of the above mentioned 17.847 acre tract and the southeasterly line of French Road and being located S. 63° 41' W. 540.00' from the most Northerly corner of said 17.847 acre tract, said Iron Pin being the most Northerly corner of the tract of land herein described.: �� - q 7 -1160 // -6p- / 7 �/ Thence, S. 190 28' 35" E. 617.14' to the most Southeasterly corner of the tract of land herein described, an Iron Pin for corner; Thence S. 35° 26' W. 75.64' to a point in the most Westerly line of the above men- tioned 17.847 acre tract and being the most southwesterly corner of the tract of land herein described, an Iron Pin for corner; Thence, N. 54° 34' W. 697.08' along the most Westerly line of the above mentioned 17.847 acre tract to the most northwesterly corner of the tract of land herein described, an Iron Pin for corner; Thence, N. 39° 41' E. 84.80' along the most Southwesterly line of French Road to a point of angle in the North line of the tract of land herein described, an Iron Pin for corner; Thence, N. 63° 41' E. 392.60' along the south- easterly line of French Road to the PLACE OF BEG INN ING,. together with all improvements thereon and the rights, hereditaments and appurtenances in anywise appertaining ng or be- longing thereto. Section 2. That this permit is expressly issued subject to compliance with all appropriate revisions of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont.
