Texas, for the term beginning April 1912 and ending in April 1914.
BE 'IT ORDAINED BY 'TRE CITY COUNCIL OF TO, CITY OF BEADMONT :
Section 1.
That the salaries and fees of ofd ice to be`, paid to the
respective officials 'of the City of Beaumont for the term commencing April
1912 . and end ing in April 1914 s hall be , and t he same are he reby fixed
at the following amounts:
MAYOR.

CHIEF OF POLICE.

The assistant Chief of Police shall receive a salary of X12.00.

CITY TREASURER.
The City Treasurer sl -B.1-1 receive a, salary of. X5.00 per annum,

CITY SECRETARY.

and all fees or perquisites iieeetefee taxA end collected in favor of
said City. Secretary, shall hereafter be taxed and. collected for and ' on
behalf of the City of Beaumont and -paid into the General Fund of said

The, Asst . City Secretary steal 1 receive a salary of $600.00
CITY ATURNEY.
The City .Atto,rnay shall receive a salary of $2400.00 per annum,

tofore paid,. an 6'' as provided by the Charter; and all.fees .and perqui-

The Tax Assessor and Collector sha7. l receive a s alary of
$2400.00 per annum:; and all fees or perquis'.ites accruing
to s a. id of f..c e r shall i asseWimbe . uai d into the General Fund of the
City, and s aid . salary, s hall cover .the 'Vhole amount to be paid to such
officer for his services*.
FIRE CHIEF.
The Chief 'of the Fire; Department shall receive a salary of
@1200.00 per annum, and no other, perquisites.
CITY SCAVENGER.
The City Scavenger . shall _-receive, forhis services a salary
of P5.00 per annum, d ni all fees. collected by him under the City
Ordi nano es �r shall be paid -int-o the General Fund of the City.
CITY HEALTH OFFICER AND
REGISTRAR OF VITAL STATISTICS.
The City Health Officer and Registrar of Vital Statistics
shall receive a salary of 9900.00 lcex annum, enc no other perquisites.
.:DEPUTY REGISTRAR OF
VITAL STATISTICS.
The Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics shall `receive
a salary of $300, re r annum, and no other perquisites.
CITY RECORDER.
The Citi Recorder shall receive a salary of 4900. per annum,
and all fees that may be attachable by law in favor of said officer
shall hereafter be- taxable ,in favor of the City of Beaumont; and shall
be paid into the GBr�ernl Fund of the Cite
CLERK CORPOI;ATION COURT,
The C1eTk�Corporation Court shall receive a salary of

CITY ENGINEER AND ACTING STREET

The City Engineer and Actin: Street Commissioner shall
receive a salary of �p2400.00 per annum, and no stem fees or commissions.
BUILDING INSPECTOR.
The Building Inspector shall receive a salary of X720.00
rer annum, and all fees th.t maty be. attachable by law in favor of said
officer,ohall hereafter be tastable in favor of the City of Beaumont,
and shall be paid into the General Fund of the City'.
ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR
The Electrical' Ins-oeetor shall receive a' salary of $960.00
per annum, aril all fees that may be attachable by law in favor of
said officer shall hereafter be paid into the General Fund of the
City of Beaumont.
MATER AND GAS IE TER INS PECT QR .
The Water arA Gas Meter Inspector shall receive a salary of
$120.00 per Fanum,. and all fees that may, be attachable by law in favor
of said officer shall hereafter be laid into the General Fund of the
City of Beaumont*
SEVIER - INSPECTOR.
The Sewer Inspector shall receive a salary .of $600.00 per, annum
and all fees that may be attachable by law in favor of said officer shall
be paid, int o the Gene ral Fund of t he City o f Beaumont.
CITY BACTERIOLOGIST.
The City Bacteriologist shall recei`,ve a salary of 8900.00
per annum.
FIRE. PdARSRAL.
TlZe Fire Marshall shall receive a salary of $180.00 per annum,
and no other perquisites.
SANITARY 0012JIS SI OTTER.
The Sanitary Commissioner Fil.a-1 l receive a salary, of X5.00,
per annum, and all fees that mai be attachable by law in favor. of said
officer shall hereafter be pa.id., into the General Fund of- tre City of
Beaumont.
ALDERLE N .
Each alderman shall receive Five Dollars (05.00) for each

regular meeting; arab. Three Dollars j$3,,:00) for each called meeting.
