ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 23,
1975, FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING OCTOBER
1, 1975 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1976, BY
TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $873.65 FROM THE GENE-
RAL FUND'S UNENCUMBERED SURPLUS ACCOUNT NO.
01-9399 TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S CAPITAL
OUTLAY ACCOUNT NO. 31-504 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
OFFICE EQUIPMENT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the budget.of the City of Beaumont adopted on the 23
day of September, 1975, for the fiscal period beginning October 1,
1975 and ending September 30, 1976, be amended by transferring the
sum of $873.65 from the General Fund's Unencumbered Surplus Account
No. 01-9399 to the Police Department's Capital Outlay Account No.
31-504 for the purchase of office equipment as described below:

One (1) Transcriber Detective Bureau $229.22
One (1) File Cabinet Internal Investigation Files 105.33
One (1) Calculator Alministrative Offices 539.10
TOTAL ---$873.65
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portion of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of
this ordinance are declared.to be severable.
Section 3.
That all ordinances:and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith

are hereby repealed.
